The Race Track Car Wash 10K race starts and finishes within the Gosling Creek Reserve.
After completion of part of the internal Gosling Creek loop, exit out onto Forest Road and head in a southerly direction (keeping to the right hand side of the road) to the turn point just short of Bennetts Lane, returning to Gosling Creek Reserve along Forest Road.
Upon re-entering Gosling Creek Reserve complete the internal Gosling Creek loop to the finish line.
The course is on bitumen sealed roads and paths within Gosling Creek Reserve. Drink stations are located along the course with both water and sports drink. Our 10K course has been World Athletics/AIMS certified and is eligible for earning ranking points, and for championships and events requiring qualification times.
To help you with your 10K training, triathlete and coach Owain Matthews has prepared a 12-week training plan for Beginner or Intermediate runners. The plans are written for a Half Marathon, but can easily be adapted by decreasing longer run distances by about half.
